Champions League Matchday 4 has begun. Day Tuesday, November 2, 2010, 16 teams face each other in four different groups.
In Group A, Tottenham Hotspur scored brilliant results at White Hart Lane. They beat defending champions Inter Milan by a score of 3-1. Spurs goals scored by Rafael Van der Vaart (18), Peter Crouch (61) and Roman Pavlyuchenko (89). Inter could only score one goal by Samuel Eto'o (80).
In Group A the other party, Twente Enschede successfully reap the full points at home to Werder Bremen. Twente won 2-0 thanks to goals from Nacer Chadli (81) and Luuk de Jong (84).
Meanwhile, Benfica won 4-3 over Lyon in Group B. Benfica 4-0 before winning goal by Alan Kardec (20), Fabio Coentrao (32 and 67) and Javi Garcia (42). Lyon able to respond, but too late. Three goals each printed Yoann Gourcuff (74), Bafetimbi Gomis (85) and Dejan Lovren (90) did not quite keep them from defeat.
