New coach Lee Tae-hoon will look to guide Cambodia into the finals of the AFF Suzuki Cup for the sixth time at the qualifiers in Laos in October.Cambodia have played 19 matches in the AFF Suzuki Cup and won just two with the step up in class from the qualifying tournament proving a big hurdle.
Lee, a former coach of Korea's women's team, took over from Scott O'Donnell in late August and has made fitness one of his main priorities.
He will also work on the players' technique during a 45-day training trip to Vietnam ahead of the AFF Suzuki Cup qualifying tournament from October 22-30 when Cambodia will be up against hosts Laos, the Philippines, Timor Leste and Brunei.
