Fiorentina forward Adrian Mutu will not be moving to Championship team, Queens Park Rangers.
Flavio Briatore, who recently handed control of the club over to Bernie Ecclestone, has denied the rumours.
Controversial attacker Mutu, who returned from a drugs ban to play for the Viola in October, has had previous stints with Inter Milan, Parma, Chelsea, and Juventus.
Briatore said in the Daily Star, “At this moment we are not interested in Mutu. There is a coach who decides who he wants and he is happy with the team he has.
