Sulley Muntari has been left wondering if he has a future with the Black Stars after he was axed from Milovan Rajevac’s latest squad for the 2010 Nations Cup qualifier against Swaziland in Manzini.
The Inter Milan midfielder who has systematically worked his way into Milovan Rajevac’s bad books with a series of bad boy behaviours was expecting call ups to the friendly international against South Africa and the qualifier against Swaziland all of which have yet to come.
KickOffGhana.com understands the player expected to be part of the party travelling to Johannesburg and then Manzini and is now wondering if he will get his chance in the national team under the Serbian again.
Muntari had a major falling out with Rajevac that led to his omission from the Nations Cup squad for Angola before the two made up.
But a number of incidents which begun with his insistence that he should be given one room during a trip to the Netherlands, his decision to seek medical treatment without permission in England during a Black Stars trip and an outburst at being left on the bench at the World Cup seem to have sealed his fate.
