La Perla ¿negra? José Antonio Reyes, actualmente en el Benfica de Lisboa, para beneplácito de gran parte de la afición colchonera, declaró sentirse confiado que logrará ser de la partida frente al Nápoli, a pesar de la lesión sufrida en la rodilla izquierda.

El delantero enfatizó sentirse feliz en el cuadro portugués.

“Mi idea es triunfar en el Benfica y espero que me salgan bien las cosas. Ya entreno con el equipo y quiero estar para el compromiso con el Nápoli, que es importante para el equipo. Aún queda tiempo hasta el día 18 y espero antes jugar en la Liga”, declaró.

Reyes, entiende que los dirigidos por Quique Sánchez Flores conforman un gran plantel.

Benfica are keen to make Jose Antonio Reyes' loan deal from Atletico de Madrid permanent and will use money from the sale of Angel Di Maria or Oscar Cardozo to fun the deal, according to a report.

The Portuguese club are preparing to make some changes in the summer and they are keen to sell at least one star name in order to fund a spending spree that will include the former Arsenal winger.

Reyes has become a popular figure at Benfica during his season-long loan from Atletico and he too would welcome the chance to make the move on a full-time basis, O Jogo state.

Los Colchoneros are reported to want €7 million for 75 per cent of the Sevilla-born star's rights and Benfica are set to meet that by May 31 in order to seal the deal.

Funds will come from the possible €20 million sale of Di Maria or a €15 million transfer involving Cardozo, with both players attracting plenty of interest.
