Manchester United, are you watching? Look to the future - this is a young manager who learned the ropes under Sir Alex as a player and has been highly successful in promoting Sunderland to the Premiership at his first attempt. I think within two years they should break the bank to get Keano because when Sir Alex retires, we need someone who knows the club and players inside out. Queiroz is not the man, look at his record at Real Madrid when he was manager - enough said.

What a season we have had. I was only persuaded to renew my season ticket by reading an atrticle from Niall Quinn in the local Sunderland paper (via the web). I'd sold back my (tiny) shareholding to support his bid, and the season has gone from strength to strength. It's great to have something positive to shout about each game, and I simply don't see us failing as badly as we have in the last two Premiership seasons.

Ronaldo - The Greatest Finisher Of All Time

Ronaldo announced his retirement as a football player on Monday, but has revealed to the press he'd like to have one last 'farewell' match with the Brazilian.
Following Corinthians' Copa Libertadores exit, Ronaldo decided to call it quits on a glittering career and will be remembered as one of the greatest strikers in the history of the game. He is the all-time top scorer in World Cup play with 15 goals and was crowned a winner when the Selecao side won the trophy in Korea & Japan in 2002.

"I want to have a beautiful party. I will talk to [Brazilian Football Confederation] president Ricardo Teixeira so that it would be a match with the Brazil team," he told Globo TV.

"I want to reunite the players who played alongside me and play for the public that loved and supported me. These people deserve a farewell."

The 34-year-old last featured for Brazil in the 2006 World Cup and has 62 goals in 97 appearances for the Selecao and his club career spanned stints with Cruzeiro, PSV, Barcelona, Inter, Real Madrid, AC Milan, and Corinthians.
