Milk and Meat Not Allowed Japan to China
China serious "deal" with Japan this time. The trigger, the reappearance of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in cattle in Miyazaki prefecture, southern Japan region in mid-April this year.
Erratic course, later, China's government issued a ban on plea-shaped so that those who come to the Land of the Great Wall did not bring milk and meat products from Japan. This information was obtained from Xinhua News, Guangzhou Daily, and Bernama on Thursday (06/03/2010).
Government of China, not only that, but also stop the import of milk powder, milk, meat, and livestock from Japan since the end of April. Public Administration Institute for supervision, monitoring, and Quarantine of China (GAQSIQ) and the Ministry of Agriculture of China in its statement said the policy was implemented to prevent transmission to animals in China. Indeed, PMK does not infect humans directly. However, China sees the need of prevention.
Nevertheless, China still allow their citizens to buy milk powder products of Japanese origin who entered the country before the Bamboo Curtain PMK rife.
