Alexandre Pato Brazilian footballer

Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva (born 2 September 1989 in Pato Branco, Paraná), commonly known as Alexandre Pato, is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a Winger for Italian Serie A club Milan and the Brazilian national team. The nickname "Pato" is in honour of his place of birth, but has led to commentators calling him "The Duck", which is the literal translation of "Pato" from Portuguese. He is known for his quick pace, skillful dribbling and powerful shot. He is regarded as one of the most promising young prospects in world football.

According to a report in The Daily Mail, Chelsea are thinking of trying to approach AC Milan’s striker, Alexandre Pato.

But the Blues aren’t the only ones interested in the 20 year old player. Football giants Real Madrid are also looking to recruit the Brazilian.

Pato declined an offer from Stamford Bridge last summer, but might be willing to transfer this year after a not so good season at San Siro. And Chelsea is ready for that to happen, offering 45 million pounds for the striker.

The player is also thinking of changing his agent Gilmar Veloz to Mino Raiola, who helped transfer Maxwell and Zlatan Ibrahimovic last year to Barcelona.
