Milan - Amauri has now become citizens of Italy that could didapuk into the Azzurri. Marcello Lippi admitted Juventus are ready to monitor the attacker despite the reluctance Umbar appointment.

After a long wait, Amauri finally officially become citizens of Italy. 29-year-old player that was born in Brazil is now looking forward to the call from Lippi.

"When I talk to him, I did not make any promises. From this day onwards, I will begin to monitor for La Nazionale, but there's no certainty he will be summoned," said Lippi in Italian Football.

One thing is for sure, Lippi admitted that Amauri is a great player who can play for Italy. That's why he supports the wishes of the players concerned to become Italian citizens.

"Application to the Italians started before I became the coach of Italy. That is one idea (previous Italy coach Roberto) Donadoni, who I also agree when I came back because he is an important player," he said.

Amauri Lippi and even defended from criticism that was brought to him. "Criticisms about Amauri who mentions that he hesitated to choose between Brazil and Italy is not fair."

"From the start he said he wanted to be an Italian and the other players know about this," said Lippi.
