Dekh Bhai Dekh, one of Indian Television's most successful serials, will be made into a major Bollywood movie, bring father son duo, Adhyayan Suman and Shekhar Suman together for the first time ever. The movie, like the serials will be directed by Anand Mahendroo.Although the trend of converting serials into movies has been prevalent in the West with serials such as Friends and Sex and The City being converted into motion pictures, this is the first Indian serial to be made into a movie. The story for the film will continue from the point it left off in the serial, with Adhyayan playing the grown up son of Shekhar Suman.
The movie which will be a romance, has Adhyayan playing an army officer. The role requires a very lean, fit look, and Adhyayan has been working hard at achieving a level of fitness for this role.
He's got an intense workout schedule which includes power yoga and cardio and dance.
He's even gone down to Khadakvasla to meet army jawans.
It’s a big film, 30 crores, being produced by Anand Mahendroo.
There's a talent hunt planned on TV, for the lead female role.
Adhyayan is also starring in Jashnn, Mahesh Bhatt's next film and is the solo lead in this one as well. That's saying a lot for a newcomer.
