Ronaldo to play alongside Kaka in Real Madrid?

Florentino Perez has wonderfully succeeded in bringing Brazilian Superstar Kaka in Spain, now his sights are turned on Manchester United’s Red Devil ace Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking to the media, hours before Kaka was pronounced as a Real Madrid player, the president stated:

“We want to take [Cristiano] Ronaldo to Real Madrid also, but first we must speak to Manchester United.

“The most important thing is that we maintain a good relationship with Manchester United.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has refused to talk about his club future while being on international duty with Portugal. However, with Alex Ferguson reportedly fixing a tag price on the Golden Boy earlier last week, there is a huge possibility that Manchester United may agree to sell Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid.

This will see Ronaldo playing alongside Kaka in Los Blancos’ dream team. But even if Cristiano Ronaldo joins Real Madrid this month, it will take time before Real Madrid fans see the 2007 Fifa World Player of the Year and the reigning Ballon d’Or winner together on the same field of play.

Ronaldo is believed to have sustained a groin injury against Albania last weekend. Reports reveal that Cristiano Ronaldo will have tests in Lisbon before doctors decide if surgery is needed.

What is clear as at now is that Ronaldo, who has pulled out from the Portugal squad that will face Estonia on Wednesday, will miss Manchester United’s Far East Tour.
The 24-year-old Star winger might even miss the entire EPL season as he could be a Real Madrid player by then.
